Reading Time: 3 minutes The 6th annual European VMworld event has finished and it’s time for the conclusions on how was the event. Some considerations are already included in my precedent post. So just let go deeper on each single day and detail.

Reading Time: < 1 minute The VMworld EU 2013 has finished today Thu 17 October. As usually most of the activities close in the early afternoon (or also in the morning), making the last day the weakest one. At least certifications and some activities are still running for the rest of the day. In the next post I will provide a report of the event and all my meetings!

Reading Time: 2 minutes Officially the VMworld EU 2013 starts tomorrow, but today there is the VMware partner day, so most people are alredy at Barcelona! I’m also attending at the partner day, and also the #vBrownbag TechTalk sessions are running. Are announced over 8,000 attendees and more than 200 breakout sessions. So let’s see how goes this event. Reading Time: 4 minutes VMware Certified Associate certifications are the new level (the entry level) of VMware certifications path. It is similar as other associate level from different vendor and does not have mandatory courses (but the company does provide self-paced free eLearning courses for each to help potential associates to prepare for the certification exam), but also it’s not mandatory (actually) for next level (VCP), so it’s mainly for people that want a certification but probably does not have an plan to approach (in short time) other level.
