Today I’m attending at the Nordic VMUG User Conference (it must be the second or the third user conference of this group) that represent also my first VMUG User Conference outside Italy.

Past year there were 470 attendees (623 registered) really a lot of people and, in fact, the Bella Center is used (the same used in VMworld EU editions in Copenhagen).

VMUGThe fist impression is something really huge, for the number of the attendees (with a high technical level), for the number (and type) of presenters and special guests, for the agenda with a large number of sessions (23 with lot of interesting contents). Big compliments to Liselotte Foverskov and other Denmark VMUG leaders for the great result (I know how isn’t so easy organize a User Conference).

What seems common is the difficult to have more community sessions: seems that is not only a Italian problem. From this point of view I think that the Feed Forward program can help… but also sharing and exchange experience across VMUG groups can help.

Past year, in our User Conference we got a community sessions with some Dutch guys, this time I will give my small contribution with a community sessions at this User Conference.

If you are interested my session is in the 14:00 – 14:45 time slot (honestly with some other interesting sessions… and 3 VCDX in 3 different sessions at the same time!):
