VMware is unveiling the new VMware vCloud Suite 7 and vRealize Suite 7 that define the entire Cloud Management Platform (CMP).

VMware delivers an Enterprise-ready cloud management platform (CMP) that supports two IT Outcomes.  The CMP speeds up IT service delivery, improves IT efficiency, and optimizes IT operations and capital spending.

In this new release, VMware is further enhancing the cloud management platform to better support specific use cases our customers are addressing in their cloud management journeys.

VMware vRealize Suite 7 features new and currently available product releases:

  • (New) VMware vRealize Operations 6.2 – VMware vRealize Operations 6.2 builds upon the intelligent workload placement capabilities originally introduced in Q3 2015 to help customers save time while enabling enhanced application and infrastructure performance. VMware vRealize Operations 6.2 will introduce new intelligent workload placement capabilities including tight integration with VMware vSphere® Distributed Resource Scheduler™ (DRS). Learn more here.
  • (New) VMware vRealize Log Insight 3.3 – VMware vRealize Log Insight 3.3 will introduce a number of backend and operational enhancements. This release introduces Simple Query API for easy integration into existing processes and Web Hooks support for third-party application integration. Learn more here.
  • VMware vRealize Automation 7 – VMware vRealize Automation 7 offers unified service blueprint capabilities that simplify and accelerate the delivery of integrated multi-tier applications with application-centric networking and security across clouds. Learn more here.
  • VMware vRealize Business for Cloud 7 – VMware vRealize Business for Cloud 7 (formerly vRealize Business Standard Edition) increases transparency and control over the costs and quality of IT services on-premises or in the public cloud. Learn more here.


There will be also a new edition: the vRealize Suite Standard. This latest addition to the vRealize Suite line up, supports the Intelligent Operations use case for IT organizations looking to improve operational efficiency and application performance and availability via predictive analytics across structured and log data, combined with insight into IT costs.

The new vCloud Suite is now finally aligned to the vRealize Suite versions and editions:

So now, vCloud Suite is a cost effective bundle that includes vRealize Suite and vSphere Enterprise Plus for vCloud Suite.
