Technology Live! is a one-day event organized by A3 Communication where up to four vendors showcase their technologies in action to a group of technical journalists, bloggers and analysts. A combination of presentations and demos allows each company to present its solutions with a much higher level of detail than is usually possible in traditional briefings. A highly interactive day for all participants.

This year will start at London on 23, January 2017.

There will be four diffent vendors presenting at this event:

  • Quantum: will show how the StorNext powered Xcellis Scale-out Storage Appliance and Artico Archive Gateway Appliances help modernise the data centre and eliminate NAS sprawl.
  • Virtual Instruments: infrastructure Performance Management platform can be used to select the right storage technologies for their environments, optimise configurations and reduce overprovisioning, mitigate deployment risks, ensure adherence to production SLAs, move from reactive to fast, proactive troubleshooting and identify and eliminate bottlenecks to increase application performance. See an old post (more than 3 years ago) about this product.
  • Scality (embargoed until 28th February!): see my last post on them.
  • Symbolic IO: with an extensive demonstration of IRIS™, the highly disruptive platform that embodies Symbolic IO’s software and patented Computational Defined Storage™ methods using StorModules™ (persistent memory).

Will be interesting learn more about their products and solutions (for several of them my last post is quite old).
