As written in a previous post there are several reasons to attend (at least one time) to a VMware Partner Exchange because is slightly different from a VMworld. Now that I’ve attend at the 2013 edition and also at both VMworld 2012, I can give some impressions and comments at the event.

With a little delay, compared on 2012, ha been announced that the vExpert 2013 program is now open for the submitsion and selection of new candidates. The VMware vExpert Award is given to individuals who have significantly contributed to the community of VMware users over the past year. vExperts are book authors, bloggers, VMUG leaders, [...]

Cloud Cred is a “game” build by VMware (here the description page) to build your cloud expertise, broadening your professional network and earning rewards and certifications based on your Cloud Cred score. The idea was introduced at VMworld 2012, during the vExpert briefing, and now is running live on the cloudcredibility.com web site.

In March you could be the big winner of a free full pass to TechEd 2013 either North America or Europe TechEd (depending on winner’s location). Just register to the Veeam content at this link! The winner will be selected on March, 18.

Finally the results of the previous content are out on vSphere-land web site. My guess about the first of each category has been matched (where my first options). Seem that the Dell Storage Forum event has been renamed in Dell Enterprise Forum and the previous site (dellstorageforum.com) has been replaced by a new one (dellenterpriseforum.com).
