Like in previous VMworld editions, the #vBrownbag TechTalks are returning also this year, both in the US and the European edition. The TechTalks are ten-minute presentations by community members at an industry conference. Most of them (and the original idea of the vBrownBag “unconference” was this) are originated with sessions not being accepted for the main conference catalog. We know we want to learn from the community so we arranged an alternative forum. TechTalks are limited to ten minutes; they deliver the very core of an idea. Keeping presentations short also means we can do […]

My session at vBrownbag Tech Talks will be today: 12:00 – 12:15 “VMware vCSA – Pro and Cons” This is the related materials: Slides Video

After the EMEA edition of #vBrownbag, finally there will be also an Italian Chapter (in the same timeframe of the EMEA edition), to increase the local language version of this great initiative (like already done with the #vBrownbag LATAM edition). For more information about the #vBrownbag initiative see this page. The Italian #vBrownbag Chapter will be handled by the VMUG.IT guys (and everybody who want to join) and will cover (in this first cycle of weeks) VMware technologies and related certifications.

My session at vBrownbag Tech Talks will be today: 13:15 – 13:30 “VMware Certifications: which one can (or must) I choose?”

The #vBrownbag TechTalks are returning also in the European VMworld edition: they will be being recorded in the Community Lounge. So this could be another reason to attend at VMworld EU. The agenda it’s already on-line. Or an opportunity to present a TechTalk, by simple fill in this form (some slots are still available).

As you know the EMEA edition of #vBrownbag his covering the the Cloud path with the relavitve VCAP exams and blueprint (for more information, see the full list of certification paths and my session at the #vBrownbag at VMworld). The next scheduled session is dedicated at VCAP5-CIA certification (the admin part of the cloud path) with an analysis of section 3 of the official blueprint (related to Managing vCloud Director Resources):

As you know the EMEA edition of #vBrownbag has started and it has covered the VCP on the Cloud and the EUC (or DT) path and some VCAP (for more information, see the full list of certification paths and my session at the #vBrownbag at VMworld). As you know the EMEA edition of #vBrownbag has started and actually it cover the VCP on the Cloud and the EUC (or DT) path (for more information, see the full list of certification paths and my session at the #vBrownbag at VMworld). The session of today is dedicated at VCP5-DT certification with an introduction and the analysis of section 1 of the official blueprint: When: 8 Jan 2013 from 20:00 to 21:00 (central european time) Where: registration form What: Slide VCP5-DT-S1 e video Remember that you also can give your contribution to this initiative!

The European chapter of #vBrownbag has started some months ago, as announced in a previous post and by several other posts and tweets. Several session have been done and some not due to the absence of speakers. So if you want to talk about the Cloud and the EUC certification path (actually the focus is on the VCP, but probably also VCAP in the future), just send your proposal on this schedule (as you can see there are also other arguments like vCOPS).

Finally the EMEA edition of #vBrownbag has started! Actually it will start with the VCP on the Cloud and the EUC path (for more information, see the full list of certification paths and my session at the #vBrownbag at VMworld). The first session is dedicated at VCP5-DT certification with an introduction and the analysis of section 1 of the official blueprint: When: 23 Oct from 20:00 to 21:00 (central europoean time) Where: registration form What: Slide VCP5-DT-S1

As probably most of the people have notice on Twitter, the EMEA edition of #vBrownbag will start tomorrow, and this is a really good idea considering that the timeline of both the US and the APAC edition are a little “complicated” for the European people. This is the official announce from Gregg Robertson: That’s right, after having spoken to the infamous APAC and US vBrownbag teams at VMworld and via the VMware vExpert communities Arjan Timmerman and I have thrown our hats into the ring and have asked to borrow the guys vBrownbag’s and show […]
