I travel to Las Vegas to attend at the VMware PEX 2013. This will be the second time that I participate in this kind of event (previously I was in Vegas in 2010, still at Mandalay Bay, but in general I prefer to follow the european VMworld).

In a previous post, I’ve already describe some reasons to attend at this kind of event. Partially it also covers the differences between PEX and VMworld. But after this event I could give a complete comparison between those events (being able to compare in the same period with both editions of VMworld).

PEX2013

Although the core of the event will start tomorrow, today (actually a few days ago) there were a number of activities related to VMware boot camps and various vendors. Vendors and sponsors that are present in large-scale (almost like in a VMworld), with some diamond partners (What do Diamonds have to do with Partner Exchange?).

Unfortunately, given the time of arrival, I lose most of the today’s activity, but I hope at least to make it in time to join some evening party. And tomorrow will be a great day!
