Zerto has announced the new version 3.0 of Zerto Virtual Replication (ZVR) during the last VMware Partner Exchange. Now this product it’s available for public, private and hybrid clouds.

In addition to enterprise-class RPO and RTO, simplicity and scalability – key features of Zerto’s core technology – ZVR 3.0 includes new functionality for effective disaster recovery, data protection and workload migration and mobility.

What’s new in 3.0:

  • Single VMware vCenter Support: Disaster Recovery for remote and branch office (ROBO) workloads
  • Recovery Validation: ZVR has the unique capability to test a specific failover point before committing it, ensuring successful failover
  • Enhanced Reporting: Adhere to audit requirements with failover reports; additional reports for recovery resource planning and performance
  • Web-based management: Manage from anywhere with a browser-based UI
  • Full support of heterogeneous environments: different vSphere versions, different storage, or a combination of vCloud and vCenter
