There are only 4 months left to plan you upgrade (or better your migration) to Windows 7 or Windows 8 (or 8.1). As written in previous post, on April 8th 2014 Windows XP goes end of life (after a very long period)! Note that this will impact both Windows XP SP3 and also Office 2003. And an Operating System without security patches is not suitable for an usage in an connected world. So the only solution is migrate to new OS versions (or other OSes).
