Next event will take place in Brussels, Belgium May 30 – June 1, 2014 in Hotel Novotel Brussels Centre Tour Noire

E2EVC Virtualization Conference is an independent, non-commercial, virtualization community event build from experts to experts. Started in 2003 with just 4 people and after 20 successful events grown to awell-recognized event with over 120 attendees. Those conferences has taken place in cities such as Munich, London, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin, Frankfurt, Dublin, Paris, Nice, Lisbon, Hamburg, Vienna and Rome.

  • On the first day (May 30) 11.05 – 11.55
    Topic: Best practices in VM design on VMware vSphere
    Short description: With a good design of your VM you can improve your virtual enviroment both on term of performance and correct resource usage. Different decisions could be taking regarding the virtual hardware configuration, guest OS and application tunining, storage options. And several aspects must be considering when you perform VM migration (particularly in P2V and V2V).
  • On the last day (Jun 1) 10.00 – 10.45
    Topic: How VMware SDS can change the storage scenarios
    Short description: In this session we will discuss about the recent VMware VSAN announce and it’s possible impact in the storage arena. Also we will describe how storage world is changing with the SDS approach and the new architectures.
