Nutanix is a well know hyper-converged company founded in 2009 with the vision of bringing the benefits of web-scale IT to the masses. They have changed the rules of traditional storage (on 2009 mostly SAN based) and become the pioneer of concepts like no-SAN and no-LUNs, hyper-converged and web-scale storage.

Recently they have also reach five years of history, were they have made significant progress in their products and solution (and also partnership).

And now they are handling their first ever user conference (the .NEXT Conference) at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach in 8-10, June 2015.

Nutanix-NextI’ve been invited (as a NTC) and I’m really curious to learn more about Nutanix products and technologies, their vision, their alliances, the recently announced certification (Nutanix Platform Expert NPX), the Community Edition and share thoughts and opinions with other people.

For me will be a really dense and busy week, with the .NEXT Conference in Miami and then also the E2EVC conference in Berlin.

But I’m really thrilled for the Nutanix conference and the main reason to attend at this conference, for me, is on what can happen (and what will be announced) from the Nutanix “2.0” company… .Next could mean something important also in the company vision and strategy… If you look at the conference agenda you can found some hints, but for sure there will more and more. Nutanix .NEXT Conference will be a good opportunity to learn more about this big changes.

Stay tuned on twitter during the conference and on my blog in the next weeks to have more information on the conference!
