Reading Time: 2 minutes Microsoft TechEd was the annual conference for developers and IT professionals working or interested in Microsoft technologies. The first TechEd happened in 1993 in Orlando, Florida and the last took place in Barcelona in 2014. This was also the last big Microsoft event in Europe. Starting from 2015, Microsoft rescheduled its conference schedule and introduced the Microsoft Ignite event. First Ignite was in Spring 2015 in Chicago and the next one is scheduled in Atlanta on September 26–30, 2016.
