After several versions of NAKIVO Backup & Replication v8 (with three versions in 12 months), now NAKIVO announced the release of NAKIVO Backup & Replication v9.0 that is the 26th software release of this backup and data protection product.

The main two big news are the Hyper-V 2019 support, but also the support of physical servers (Windows based).

Hyper-V 2019 Support

The Hyper-V backup solution can back up live running VMs without installing any agents or interrupting VM operation. NAKIVO Backup & Replication leverages Microsoft’s Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) technology to create application-aware backups for Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, SQL, and SharePoint.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication b9.0 is now fully compatible with Microsoft Hyper-V 2019.
