After several versions of NAKIVO Backup & Replication v8 (with three versions in 12 months), now NAKIVO announced the release of NAKIVO Backup & Replication v9.0 that is the 26th software release of this backup and data protection product.

The main two big news are the Hyper-V 2019 support, but also the support of physical servers (Windows based).

Hyper-V 2019 Support

The Hyper-V backup solution can back up live running VMs without installing any agents or interrupting VM operation. NAKIVO Backup & Replication leverages Microsoft’s Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) technology to create application-aware backups for Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, SQL, and SharePoint.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication b9.0 is now fully compatible with Microsoft Hyper-V 2019.

Enjoy the full range of capabilities granted by the new version of Microsoft’s virtualization solution and let NAKIVO Backup & Replication take care of data protection.

Of course, NAKIVO Backup & Replication provides native backup also for Hyper-V Server 2016, Hyper-V Server 2012 (R2), and Hyper-V Server 2012.

Windows Server Backup

NAKIVO Backup & Replication v9.0 now supports physical server backup and thus provides reliable protection for mixed environments.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication allows you to seamlessly perform Windows Servers backup, ensuring data consistency of applications and databases.

By choosing NAKIVO Backup & Replication, you can back up your entire Windows servers including the data of applications such as Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, SharePoint, Oracle and others; recover individual files and objects; improve performance with Network Acceleration; save storage space with global deduplication and compression.
