Reading Time: 3 minutes The VMware vExpert is an award is given to individuals who have significantly contributed to the community of VMware users over the past year. Basically the VMware vExpert program is VMware’s global evangelism and advocacy program. The program is designed to put VMware’s marketing resources towards your advocacy efforts. Reading Time: 3 minutes With a little delay, finally the VMware vExpert 2019 Applications are now open! Applications will be accepted until Friday, February 8th at midnight PDT. The vExpert 2019 announcement will be late February to early March.

Reading Time: 3 minutes Recently a new VMware vExpert Sub-Program has been announced: the vExpert PRO program. But compared with the vExpert program and the other vExpert sub-programs, is slightly different. A vExpert Pro is a current vExpert who excels in their local region, adding value to the program and giving back to the community. This person has a strong relationship with the local IT community in general, and works as an advocate for the vExpert program, recruiting, mentoring and training people.

Reading Time: 4 minutes Two years ago, VMware has started new vExpert (sub)programs on different technologies. One of those sub-programs was the vExpert NSX and I was honored to part of the first list. After the renewal of last year (VMware vExpert NSX 2017), I found that I’ve been renewed also for this year! VMware has just announced the list of vExperts NSX 2018.

Reading Time: 2 minutes The vExpert vSAN program is a specific VMware vExpert (sub)programs focused on the vSAN product. The idea to have specialized groups of vExpert was to bring again (like at the origins) the vExpert program as an “elite” program. After the vExpert vSAN 2016 and 2017 lists, now VMware has just announced the vExpert vSAN 2018 new list. Note that “vExpert” is not a technical certification or even a general measure of VMware expertise, it’s much like an award.

Like for other technologies vertical, these vExperts has demonstrated significant contributions to the community and a willingness to share their expertise with others. Contributing is not always blogging or Twitter as there are many public speakers, book authors, scriptwriters, VMUG leaders, VMTN community moderators and internal champions among this group.

Reading Time: 11 minutes VMware vExpert program recognizes people that have demonstrated significant contributions to the community and a willingness to share their expertise with others. Contributing is not always blogging or Twitter as there are many public speakers, book authors, CloudCred task writing, script writers, VMUG leaders, VMTN community moderators and internal champions among this group. The primary reason for becoming vExpert certainly should not be related to any possible benefits of the program. And once confirmed you have to think more about what you can give rather to what is to be expected. But I’d be a […]
