Reading Time: < 1 minute Today the VMworld EU 2016 will officially begin with a specific day dedicated to partners (also considering the lack of the Partner Exchange event). What you should expect from this VMworld? Something has already been announced (see the AWS partnership). But finally, after three VMworld (counting both the EU and US edition) there will be some news on the core product: VMware vSphere (considering also the release of Windows Server 2016). And, for sure, more info and probably more news con SDDC (including VSAN and NSX) and CNA.

Reading Time: 3 minutes There is just a week before the new edition of VMworld EU and also if lots has been announced during the US edition, we can expect some interesting news also at this event. For me will be a good way to meet again lots of friends again, visit some booths to learn more from sponsors, pass some time in the community area and try to see some sessions. This year, I don’t want to write a complete pre-conference guide, old posts like VMworld 2015 EU or also VMworld 2014 EU tips tips are still valid.

Is a must in the format: with a selected elite of few people, but open to everybody with the live stream and the archived video. Reading Time: 3 minutes The US edition of VMworld 2016 is finally over (and the location and venue are been announced for next year: August 27 – August 31 still at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Convention Center). But which news are coming from this event? This year, I’ve not attend at the US edition, but I will go, as usual, at the European one. So I cannot make a detailed report, or at least I can only comment other reports. The first “news”, is the Dell-EMC fusion and again (like at the last VMworld EU) Michael Dell was present […]
