As announced in the past VMworld 2015 US, the location US for VMworld 2016 will change from San Francisco to Vegas (probably for at least two editions). For the European edition the place will remain the same: again Barcelona. Those will be the dates (similar periods)
- US edition: will be in Las Vegas during August 28 – September 1 (with a partner day on August 28)
- EU edition: will be in Barcelona during October 17 – 20 (with probably the partner day on 17)
As usual, both conferences close on Thursday after the lunch time (at least for the main sessions and activities). Registration for the US edition is already open, for the European one actually there is only a pre-registrations. Pricining and the discount remain the same.
If you are looking for a cheap way to attend, actually you can use the Alumni discount (or the VCP discount, but is not so good as the Alumni one). Plus you can use the VMUG Advantage discount with one other VMworld discount. This is the only VMworld discount that is combinable, and applies only to VMUG Advantage Members.
