After the release of the the new vCloud Suite 5.5, the Horizon View 5.3, now it’s the turn of the general availability of VMware vCloud Automation Center (vCAC) 6 and vCenter Operations (vCOPS) Manager 5.8.

Both were announced during the last VMworld Europe, in the VMware Cloud Management vision. Both present interesting function of cross-products and cross-cloud/environments.

For example, vCenter Operations Manager 5.8 support for Microsoft Hyper-V servers, Amazon’s AWS and several business critical applications such Microsoft Exchange and SQL Servers via vCenter Operations Management Pack for vCenter Hyperic.
