Eric Siebert (from Sphere-Land.com) has open again (see the related post of previous year), a contest for voting the ‘Top VMware & Virtualization Blogs’. This contest is becoming a recurring and estemeed in the VMware & virtualization world (see also the history of the top blog voting over the years).
Last year over 1400 people voted from 60 different countries, with over 320 blogs dedicated to VMware and Virtualization – this is definitely an impressive number which is a real indication to how passionate people feel towards the VMware range of products and virtualization in general.
This year the content is sponsored by Infinio and it’s available on this site: http://info.infinio.com/topvblog2015
The voting runs until the the mid of March 2015 with only one round of voting being allowed per IP address – so those of you using a corporate Internet connection, get in early.
All blogs on the vLaunchpad are included in the general voting, the categories allow bloggers to nominate themselves in specific recognition categories such as storage, scripting, independent, new blogs and podcasts.
You can vote for your top 10 favorite VMware & virtualization blogs: on the first page you will be able to select your 10 favorite blogs and on the following page will be allowed to rank them in your preference order.
Also this year there is a way to voting in special categories to help distinguish certain types of blogs. The categories are independent of the general voting so first pick and rank your top 10 overall favorite blogs and then choose your favorite blog in each category.
The results will be tabulated then announced on a special result show broadcast live in March (probably on 19 March 2015)
And this year the sposors will also give some cool prize to the top blogger: see Sneak peek at Top vBlog 2015 blogger prize
