Veeam Endpoint Backup is a free data protection and disaster recovery solution for physical machines. After the announce of Veeam Endpoint Backup FREE, in October 2014, and the GA product in April 2015, Veeam has released the version 1.1 of the product.

The release version of Veeam Endpoint Backup FREE 1.1 is available for download starting from August 4, 2015. More information on the release notes.

The biggest news is Windows 10 support. Veeam Endpoint Backup FREE is the first solution that fully supports backing up and restoring computers running the newly released Windows.

But there are also other several interesting features. For more information just read this post.

Note that this build will NOT be published to the auto-update servers for the duration of the pilot stage (a couple of weeks). So, to update right now, please download the new version from Veeam website, and run the setup to update manually.
