Veeam Agent for Linux is a simple backup and powerful recovery tool designed to ensure the Availability of your customers’ Linux servers anywhere — in the cloud, on physical or virtual servers, or endpoints.
Also from the Veeam backup console, you can now manage Linux backups and restores along with your customers’ other Veeam backups — making BaaS (Backup as a Service) possible for the entire environment and increasing revenue opportunities at the same time!
There are three different editions (see this document for more information):
Supported OSes are with Linux kernel 2.6.32 or higher, 32 or 64-bit, like:
- Debian 6.x-8.x
- Ubuntu 10.04-16.10
- RHEL / CentOS / Oracle Linux 6.x-7.x
- Fedora 23, 24
- openSUSE 11.3–13.x, 42.1
- SLES 11 SP1 — 12
