Microsoft Windows Server 2025 has been released in GA on November 1st 2024, and now there is one important 3rd party compatibility announce: Windows Server 2025 is certified on VMware platforms!

Starting with November 16, Windows Server 2025 is officially certified on VMware vSphere 7.0 U3, 8.0, 8.0 U1, 8.0 U2, and 8.0 U3. These versions have been tested and validated to provide a stable, high-performance platform for running Windows Server 2025 as a guest operating system on virtual machines.
