Seem that the Dell Storage Forum event has been renamed in Dell Enterprise Forum and the previous site (dellstorageforum.com) has been replaced by a new one (dellenterpriseforum.com). Also the twitter account @DellSF and been replaced by a new @DellEntForum one (seems that has only been renamed).

Actually this does not change the planned events (neither the locations and the dates):

  • US event: June 4-6, 2013 | San Jose, California
  • EMEA event: 14-16 January 2014 | Frankfurt, Germany

And still there are other different locations for different market (Australia, Brazil, China, India, Japan) as previous year.

But now is not only storage oriented but is more general for the enterprise solutions:

  • Core Technology
  • Compellent Technology
  • EqualLogic Technology
  • PowerVault Technology
  • DX Object Storage Technology
  • Virtualization & Application Solutions
  • Data Protection & Retention Solutions
  • Networking Solutions
  • Server Technology
  • Active Infrastructure/Converged IT Solutions

At this point seems more like a Dell World, with the focused on the Enterprise. And seems to not replace the Dell World 2013 edition.

I hope to be able to attend at the EMEA edition to see which are differences from the previous editions. Note that also the official hashtag has been changed in DellEF.
