The second day of the Powering the Cloud event is almost similar to the first one (see the report of day 1), with the only main difference that it will finish some hours earlier. The entire show confirm the reasons to attend at this event, and I think to attend also the next year.
As written in the previous post, the agenda was almost dense and structured in different paths and topics, without specific general sessions.
Another difference from yesterday, today there wasn’t a dedicated track for the keynotes, but instead there were place for a “Hot Topics” track (this was one of the news of this year). I followed the first two sessions of this track and I have appreciated the format.
Also in this day I had some scheduled meetings with Aptare, Emulex, Tarmin, Pure Storage, Virtual Instruments.
During the next weeks I will post specific report for each company. For more information you can see the report of past event.
For now I have to confirm the congratulation at the entire organization, both for the event side, but also for the part dedicate to the press (as written I was invited as a “press analyst”), for the great results.
And next year will be, as usual, in Frankfurt in the last week of October: 28-29 October 2014.
