Tech Field Day is back in Europe again

Reading Time: 2 minutes Tech(nical) Field Day are well know events, organized by Stephen Foskett and his team, with the purpose of bring together innovative IT product vendors and independent thought leaders to share information and opinions in a presentation and discussion format. Is a must in the format: with a selected elite of few people, but open to everybody with the live stream and the archived video. Is also a great source of technical information from the vendors but also from the attendeeds.

Results of the SwiftStack for Charity contest

Reading Time: < 1 minute On July, SwiftStack has asked bloggers to use the Free Trial for a spin and post their experiences on their blogs, earning them an automatic $50 donation towards the charity of their choice. Between July 11 and August 11 there was an “engagement points” to award an additional $1,000 charitable donation to the winner, and $250 more to the runner-up. Here are the final results:

VMware vExpert VSAN 2016

Reading Time: < 1 minute On the second half of 2016, VMware has started new vExpert (sub)programs on different technologies. One was the vExpert VSAN. And finally the list of 2016 vExperts who received the VSAN award has been published. The program is build upon the vExpert program. To apply you must be a current vExpert as well as evangelizing VMware Virtual SAN. There will be an application once per year for each of the sub-programs. Applications for 2017 will open around February of 2017.
