During the last IT Press Tour (the 14th), in the Silicon Valley (December 1-5, 2014) we met several companies in different categories (Cloud, Storage and Big Data). The third company that we met on the fourth day was Primary Data and potentially their product could be one of the most disrupting in the storage arena.

The first company that we met (on the first day) was Nimble Storage, one well know name in the storage world (and present for the fouth time at a IT Press Tour).

The second company that we met on the second day was ObjectiveFS, an interesting company with a single but unique product in the cloud area.

The last company that we met (on the last day) was Platfora, a company specialized in the the Big Data and Analytics world.

During the last IT Press Tour (the 14th), in the Silicon Valley (December 1-5, 2014) we met several companies in different categories (Cloud, Storage and Big Data). The third day has started (and also ended with a dinner) with Diablo Technologies, a privately held company, headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, with additional teams throughout the United States and Europe.

The second company that we met on the third day was SpanningCloudApps, a company founded on 2010 and based in Austin (TX) that provide unique cloud-to-cloud backup solutions and recently (October 2014) acquired by EMC (now is formally called Spanning by EMC).
