APAC edition of #vBrownbag is managed by my friend Alastair Cooke (the creator of AutoLab) and actually he is covering the VCP6-Desktop blueprint. One big news of the new version of this certification is the part related to VMware Mirage: the entire section 5 is dedicated to Install, Configure, and Manage VMware Mirage.

How don’t know how much will impact the related exams (I’ve not took it yet), but for sure mean a more End User Computing perspective rather that something related only to the View part.

In the next APAC #vBrownbag session I will give an overview of VMware Mirage and following the different blueprint objectives:

  • Objective 5.1 – Describe and Differentiate VMware Mirage Components
  • Objective 5.2 – Manage Base and Application Layers
  • Objective 5.3 – Configure and Manage Endpoints

Information about the next APAC #vBrownbag session:

  • When: 2 April 2014 from 20:00 to 21:00 (Australian, Sidney timezone)
  • Where: registration form
  • What: slidedeck and video icon_video (coming soon)

Note that there is already a vBrownbag session that cover Mirage: #vBrownBag Follow-up VMware Horizon Mirage with Chuck Mills (@vchuckmills)

This new one will cover Mirage 5.x product and also well be focused on the VCP6-Desktop related objectives.
