During the last Omnissa Online some interesting news and announces where related to the Horizon platform.
The main pillars of Horizon are: true multi-cloud solution, security and experience and apps everywhere.

All with flexible deployment options to enable deployment of desktops and apps on-premises, in the hybrid cloud, or in the public cloud with Horizon on Amazon WorkSpaces Core, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

But in the roadmap there are some interesting ecosystem expansion for the platform, supporting VMware Horizon 8 on Cloud Director, Horizon Cloud with Amazon WorkSpaces Core, Horizon Cloud on GCE.
Will be interesting see if, in the future, will be addedd more options also for on-prem deployment, including maybe other type of hypervisors.
