Reading Time: 2 minutesVMworld public session voting was opened some hours ago, but there are already some interesting sessions title. Seems that “network virtualization” will be a buzzword of 2013 edition, with also a new product: VMware NSX. VMware NSX supplies the same benefits to network virtualization that ESXi supplies to server virtualization and makes it possible to rapidly deploy network and security services by decoupling those services from the underlying network hardware and how this abstraction provides hardware independence. But more interesting is the session proposal #4729: Join the Network Virtualization Revolution by Becoming VMware’s Newest VCP, […]

Reading Time: 2 minutesAs discussed, all the VMware exams have a release version that depend only by the major number of the related products (or suite). And usually are all agnostic on the minor number. But the only way to be sure is check the related blueprint and verify the content (a simple and fast way could be check the document links). A new VCAP exam has been added and is the VCAP5-DTD, the one design related for the EUC path. All certification related paths as been rebuild with a new graphics… not sure if is better than before. There are several interesting book already available, and lot that must be published on the next months. Of course is not the only VMware books related repository, considering that some “best sellers” like (for example):VMware vSphere 5 Clustering Technical Deepdive and Mastering VMware vSphere 5. Also for certifications there are several other study books (like this one for VCP).
