On July 21st I’ve recevied an email from the VMware certification team for the first big changes in the transcript page: a unique ID for all VMware certifications and also consisten with the VUE ID. This also explay why, starting from VCP-Cloud, there was always the same VCP number also for new type of certifications. The result was a new transcript will all the ID replaced by one in the new form: VMW-00061532M-00014099. The last part is exactly the old VCP number.
My guess was that this could be the first step to have a sharing tool for the transcript (like other vendor transcripts):
Received an email about my new #VMware Certification Candidate ID. Maybe is the first step to have also a shareble transcript?

Today I’ve found that my guess was correct and new links has appear in my transcript page: one for the sharing feature (for each certification) and one for download the digital version (PDF) of your certification (maybe in the future the printed copy will be suppressed, like other vendor alredy do?).
The sharing feature is quite easy and works with a unique URL for each certificate. For example to check my VCDX5-DCV certification you can use this link.
Another way is use the Authentication Form, and provide your authentication code (one for each exam): 9255733-8B3D-545973A5DFC0. In this case you do not get the entire PDF but only a validation page with the current status of the certification.
Note that this new procedure to verify a VMware certification replace what was described in a previous post.
A couple of curiosities: all certs (also for VCP3, for example) are signed by Pat Gelsinger and all VCDX progressive number are gone (at least in the trascript page).
