Note that Scality was already providing a 100% uptime for several customers, due to the design of their infrastructure, but with this service is now prossible prove and guarantee it.

VMware vExpert program recognizes people that have demonstrated significant contributions to the community and a willingness to share their expertise with others. Contributing is not always blogging or Twitter as there are many public speakers, book authors, CloudCred task writing, script writers, VMUG leaders, VMTN community moderators and internal champions among this group.

The primary reason for becoming vExpert certainly should not be related to any possible benefits of the program. And once confirmed you have to think more about what you can give rather to what is to be expected. But I’d be a hypocrite to deny that there are also practical advantages in being a vExpert!

During the last Technology Live! London 2017 I’ve see some presentations about new features or new products and was interesting see how those company has changed from the past.

But last presentation was quite different for me: also because Symbolic IO was something new for me, but also because they really made an impressing presentation and demo!

The company was founded in 2012 by Brian Ignomirello, the former CTO of Hewlett Packard’s Global storage team, in an effort to transform the current enterprise storage industry from focusing on hardware, cards, chips and processors to embracing the way that big data works today and address the challenges facing companies with legacy systems.

A combination of presentations and demos allows each company to present its solutions with a much higher level of detail than is usually possible in traditional briefings. A highly interactive day for all participants.

The VMCE-A1: Design & Optimization V1 (VMCE-A1) exam is the second requirement to acquire the Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA) designation, after the VMCE-A: Design & Optimization V1 traning. Compared to VMCE exam is more costly, but it’s also another level.

The exam must be taken at a Pearson VUE local testing facility with a time extention (30 minutes) for not native english (based on the Country of the testing center). Total time (without time extention) it’s 70 minutes, but it’s not a huge constraint.
