Reading Time: < 1 minute According with the official web site, the “old” Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) certification level has recently been renamed in  Microsoft Certified Solutions Master (MCSM). The reason is to align MCSA, MCSE, MCSD, and MCSM into a common naming scheme. The existing MCM certifications are unaffected by the certification name changes. As each game is great when it’s short (here we talk about more than 3 months), but especially if is played according to certain rules, which do not always seem to be present (or at least not always applied).

Reading Time: 3 minutes I’ve already write a post with the comparison between PCoIP and RDP (PCoIP vs. RDP) and some considerations on how use each protocol in a VMware View infrastructure. Other protocols, like HP RGS (Remote Graphics Software) has been removed (from View) years ago, and protocols from other solutions (like, for example, SPICE) are not included. But now there is also the HTML5 option (Blast protocol) included with the Horizon Suite or with the Feature Pack of Horizon View (see this post on how enable it).

Reading Time: < 1 minute Finally, after the first info and rumors about the VCDX-Cloud certification, the official page seems to be complete with all the information and all the certification path. We probably will see first VCDX-Cloud certified people starting from the second half of July 2013.

Reading Time: 3 minutes Starting from April, 23 is possible vote for your prefered VMworld sessions, choosing what you would like to ear or which people you want to see. Voting will close on Monday, May 6th at 5:00pm PDT.   During this time, all complete session proposals will be voted on by VMware Content Committee and the Public community (you need a VMworld account in order to give your vote). I’m quite sure that previous year there where two distinct voting sessions, so this could be a first news.
