Reading Time: < 1 minuteFinally, after the beta period and a long waiting (first time that beta results were out before the exam goes live), the VCAP5-DCD exam is now available. All information are on the official web page. It also confirmed the rumors that, for a shot period, all VCAP4-DCD could upgrade to v5 without the need of VCP5… Nice but unuseful… I think that most has alreay upgrade before the 29th of Feb… So an exam discount (IMHO) was a better option. As usually, for VCAP exam, you need to require a VCAP5-DCD Authorization, that is still […]

Reading Time: < 1 minuteI’ve written about my experience with the VCP5-DT exam but I’ve not started (and neither planned) to realize a blueprint with study notes like the one about VCP5. But actually there are some recent works that could cover this exam: VCP5-DT Blueprint Study Guide VCP5-DT Exam Preparation Notes

Reading Time: 2 minutesAlthough the official confirmation has yet arrived via email, it seems that (also) this year I was confirmed as a vExpert. Or at least they appear on the list published on the site: Announcing vExpert 2012 title holders. Considering the changes in the vExpert program and that I’ve tried the “Evangelist” path (probably the most “wanted” or at least desired… and where there are some really great evangelists) I be enormously honored by this confirmation. It ‘s been less than a year since the last vExpert 2011, but I seems that were only few days.

Reading Time: 2 minutesAs written in a previous post, one of the possible criteria to value as good is a IT certification is correlate it to the real request on the IT world. Maybe is a material criteria, but it protect the investment and also make possible grow the skills of the certification (you must make practice or certifications just become useless). The request  and the offer could be loosely estimated by the salaries: usually where are high it mean that the request is high and of offer maybe is not enough (or simple that the skill is […]
