Reading Time: 4 minutes During the last Dell Technologies World 2019 one interesting announce during the first keynote was the availability of different public cloud platform in order to run natively and integrated VMware vSphere based environments. VMware Cloud on AWS was the first platform, but now there are several other options (note that there are also the VMware Cloud Verified partners, but in this case we are talking about seamless solutions). One of this new platform is Microsoft Azure!

Reading Time: 3 minutes Veeam Agents could be easily managed from Veeam Backup & Replication console, but this works only for licensed agents. If you have a free agent or simply a standalone agent you must manage it directly, including manage its lifecycle. But it remain very easy like in the past (see for example Upgrade to Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows 2.2 ), by using directly the Veeam Agent console, where you can check if a new version is available and start the download and upgrade process.

With the addition of new terms, like composable infrastructures. But HCI has become a hot topic with several vendors that aim to be a leader in this area, or with several “magic quadrants” that try to define who is in. And most people say that HCI market will just eat all (or most) of the primary storage market.

Reading Time: 6 minutes The new VMware vSphere 6.7 Update 2 has been announced some weeks ago, but was not yet available (although lot of people have already wrote about most of its features)… now finally VMware vSphere 6.7 Update 2 is general available (GA) and you can download the bits and really test all its features This is a huge step and called just an update release is too limiting… there are so much difference with the VMware vSphere 6.7 Update 1 (released on October 2018) to make it much more like as a 6.8 version.
