Qualche giorno fa ho ricevuto questa email, che sembra essere spam:

The verified version of VMWARE Users list is releasing on October 19th, 2011.
Would you like to have a copy of the same at a low investment?
You would get information such as Contact Name, Company Name, Title, Phone & Fax, Mailing Address and Business Email Address.
We are providing it to only 5 customers on a first come first serve basis. So hurry and grab a copy of the same.

Da una verifica pare che il dominio mittente non abbia un sito web, che sia stato recapito anche ad indizzi casuali, che non sono specificate ulteriori informazioni su questa fantomatica user list (poi perché ci vorrebbe mai una user list?)… inoltre non sono esplicitate le relazioni con VMware (se non nel nome della lista, scrivendolo pure in modo sbagliato).

Ritengo quindi una tipica mail di spam da trattare come tale.
