Reading Time: 7 minutesCome avevo già scritto in un post precedente (VMware certification roadmap aggiornato) oramai sono disponibili diversi esami VMware in versione 6 (di fatto il livello VCP si è completato o si sta completando, visto che per la parte DCV stiamo comunque parlando di esami ancora in una fase beta). Anche il livello VCP è cambiato parecchio (vedere VMware annuncia anche le nuove certificazioni) dato che ora è costituito da un “foundations exam” comune a tutti i percorsi e poi da un esame specifico per ogni singolo percorso. Reading Time: 4 minutesAtlantis USX (Unified Software-defined Storage) è una soluzione di tipo software-defined storage (SDS) 100% software, che permette di trasformare tradizionali storage o semplici dischi locali in uno storage condiviso di classe enterprise, ricco di funzionalità e con prestazioni molto elevate. La prima versione del prodotto è stata annunciata più di un anno fa (nel febbraio 2014) e attualmente siamo arrivati alla versione 2.0 del prodotto (annunciata nell’agosto 2014) con tante funzionalità interessanti. Ma ora c’è importante novità da parte di Atlantis Computing: l’annuncio di un nuovo prodotto chiamato Atlantis HyperScale.

Reading Time: 2 minutesAfter the E2EVC 2014 Brussels and E2EVC 2014 Barcelona events, the next European E2EVC event (and the first one for 2015 year) will be in Berlin: The next Spring E2EVC Virtualization Conference in Europe in summer 2015 will take place in Novotel Berlin Mitte Hotel, Fischerinsel 12, 10179, Berlin, Germany. E2EVC Virtualization Conference is an independent, non-commercial, virtualization community event build from experts to experts. Started in 2003 with just 4 people and after 23 very successful events grown to awell-recognized event with over 140 attendees.

Reading Time: 4 minutesIn those days there were some interesting threads directly or indirectly about the vCommunity, the value of it, the credibility and also the criteria of “election” in it for the Top  Blog (but also for the vExpert). They have started independently one from Christian Mohn (The “vCommunity”) and one from Rene Van Den Bedem (#TopvBlog2015 Analysis Part 2) but in both there are some interesting topics (although I don’t agree with all of them).
