Those reviews look at the quarterly and lifetime statistics for the data drive models in operation in Backblaze’s data centers. As of September 30, 2018 Backblaze had 99,636 spinning hard drives. Of that number, there were 1,866 boot drives and 97,770 data drives. A lot to have some interesting data.

Seems that there is major bug in Storage VMotion functionality of vSphere 6.7 when you are using the optional IR feature that allows you to redirect virtual disk updates to the selected datastore.
