VMware vSphere Update Manager (VUM) enables centralized, automated patch and version management for VMware vSphere and offers support for VMware ESXi hosts, virtual machines, and virtual appliances.
For ESXi hosts it can manage both the update and the upgrade workflows, but can also be powerful for adding custom VIB package, like for example new drivers.
Usually it takes the updated files from the VMware repository, but you can also add custom repositories (or depots).

Veeam ha introdotto Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 nel “lontano” Novembre 2016 e grazie a questo prodotto è stato possibile proteggere le email di Office 365, ma soprattutto i lasciare la libertà e semplicità per il restore, con strumenti del tutto simili a quelli di Veeam Backup & Replication (in realtà gli stessi per il restore granulare).
La versione 2.0 di Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 è stata un grande passo in avanti, con l’aggiunta del supporto nativo di SharePoint e OneDrive (Business).
Ora è la volta della versione Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 v3.0.

I had a lot of trouble with one particular “special” VMDK on a ESXi 6.5 system, which did not start after a reboot of the ESXi host.
The VM power-on procedure failed with this message: “File system specific implementation of LookupAndOpen[…] failed”. However in the end it just gave me the overall error that it failed to start the machine.
