Reading Time: 2 minutesQualche mese fa avevo segnalato un possibile (e grave) problema di vSphere 6.5 se utilizzato con schede a 10 Gbps (e molti oramai lo utilizzano con schede a 10 Gbps) con rischio di PSOD (Purple Screen Of the Death).
The VMware KB 2151749 descrive questo problema come possibile solo a seguito di un aggiornamento a vSphere 6.5. Ma in realtà il problema sembra presentarsi anche dopo l’aggiornamento in modo randomico (benché a me non fosse ancora capitato).

Nella giornata di ieri (19 dicembre 2017), Veeam ha rilasciato diverse nuove versioni (benché si tratti in molti casi di “minor” version) dei suoi prodotto di punti per la availability.
Benché non si tratti di major release (a parte l’agente per Linux), si tratta comunque di rilasci importanti che corrispondono a nuove funzionalità (alcune in origine previste per la versione 10 di Backup & Replication).
