Reading Time: 11 minutesL’edizione americana del VMworld 2015 è finita da alcune settimane (vedere le novità VMware dal VMworld US 2015) e mancano meno di quattro settimane all’inizio dell’edizione europea del VMworld 2015, che si svolgerà come di consueto (già da 4 anni) a Barcellona. Datto is an innovative provider of comprehensive backup, recovery and business continuity solutions used by thousands of managed service providers worldwide. This is the description from their web site, but honestly was not so easy understand what they really during the first part of the presentation.

Reading Time: 6 minutesUno dei miti del public cloud è che sia vantaggioso rispetto ad altre soluzioni. Quante volte avete sentito dire che la PMI deve spostarsi su servizi di tipo public cloud? Perché sono più convenienti o perché risparmia. La verità è molto più articolata: il public cloud permette veramente di passare da un modello senza alcun CapEx iniziale (anche se poi non è vero dato che vi sono alcuni servizi comprabili in modalità “semitradizionale”) ad un modello totalmente OpEx e basato normalmente su una tariffazione mensile a consumo effettivo.
