Reading Time: 4 minutesSe state pianificando un aggiornamento in-place verso vCenter Server 6.0 (mi riferisco alla versione installabile per Windows) allora dovrete leggere molto attentamente le varie informazioni presenti nella pagina vSphere Upgrade Center. Naturalmente l’aggiornamento non è l’unica opzione. In alternativa è anche possibile creare un nuovo vCenter Server e passare tutto sul nuovo sistema. Problema di snapshot in VMware vSphere 6.0

Reading Time: 2 minutesSe avete già installato (o aggiornato a) VMware vSphere 6.0 e continuate ad utilizzare il vecchio vSphere client (comunque ancora esistente), allora vi sarete probabilmente già accorti di uno strano comportamento nella gestione delle snapshot delle VM. Apparentemente tutte le VM sembrano avere delle snapshot. Anche se in realtà magari non le hanno. E non è un problema di albero delle snapshot corrotto, tanto più che un’operazione di Consolidate non risolve il problema. Questo è quanto appare utilizzando il vSphere Client:
